My name is Chris Jones, I'm 43 years old and I currently live in Essex, UK. I am the author of the books in The Cameron Jack Trilogy. It all started when I worked as a machine operator, I'd been doing this all my life. I'd always wanted to write a book and get it published. I had stories in mind but never found the time to write. I worked shift work and had a young family. In March 2009 I was made redundant from a large world wide company after being employed with them for 17 years. With no qualifications and in a recession, I did not know what to do next. This is when the decision to finally sit down and start to write a story I'd had in mind for a while. I bought a packet of pencils and a pad and put my story onto paper. Once halfway through, I contacted Authorhouse who gave me information on how to publish my writings. I'd never used a computer before and went out to purchase a laptop then once I'd finished writing my book I began to type it up. By November 2009 I'd finished typing and my book was now ready to be published. "If it fails at least I can say I tried, if it is a success I will have achieved what I always wanted to do," I said to my friends and family. If it works out well, I hope to continue writing as a full time career.

I have two children Jess and Cameron, of which both their names I have used for characters in the book. They are not actually linked to the books in any way. Please enjoy!
